About the function This is an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Exercise Psychology to join a dynamic department whereby teaching is supported by high quality specialist spaces including well equipped psychology, biomechanics and physiology laboratories a dedicated multi activity teaching gymnasium and use of the Edge Hill Sport complex with its connected indoor and outdoor facilities for a wide variety of field sports, swimming and athletics. You will undertake the teaching and assessment of modules focused on Exercise Psychology in Sport and Exercise Sciences, on the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science Degree Programme. You will also be expected to contribute to module delivery in other areas of the programme, for example the newly validated MSc Applied Sport and Exercise Science degree as well as to the Departments research Activity, and as appropriate, to the academic administration of the Department. About You As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Exercise Psychology, you will be a specialist in the subject, with excellent communication expertise and previous teaching and assessment practice at undergraduate level, you will demonstrate a positive attitude to the teaching and research goals of the department.
