About the functions As Senior Lecturer in Nurse Education (Mental Health), you will play a significant function in the design, delivery and evaluation of the mental health nursing curriculum and be involved in teaching across the entire nursing portfolio, including significant and appropriate CPD provision. You will be expected to have recent practice in an academic function and/or significant recent, mental health-significant practice practice in their domain. About You prosperous candidates will be appropriately qualified Registered Nurse or a recognised cognate discipline with mental health as a recognised speciality, with appropriate and significant professional body registration to accompany this. You will also possess significant and demonstrable practice-located/academic practice underpinned by a sound working expertise of the contemporary professional landscape. Ideally, you will have significant HEI practice, underpinned by a sound working expertise of contemporary issues in nursing/your mental health specialism, with a high level of consciousness of the interprofessional agenda. It would be advantageous to have practice of research activity and publications. You will be an enthusiastic, innovative, and engaging professional with significant teaching/practice practice, able to deliver high quality teaching to our students. The prosperous post holder will have an effective communication & leadership abilities style and possess excellent interpersonal expertise. Time and workload management expertise are a key requirement to this post and having a strong commitment to the welfare and success of students will be key to your success in a growing department.
