Offer: Lecturer (E&R) in Politics:Job description:Job location: Cornwall Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences This full-time post is available from 1 September 2022 on a fixed term basis until 31 August 2023 in the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. The function The post of Lecturer in Politics will contribute to the delivery of our teaching programmes in Politics at Exeter. The post, which is located at our Penryncampus in Cornwall, will include undertaking research in Politics or interdisciplinary humanities and/or social sciences, securing external research funding, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules in political communication or comparative politics related to the substantive topic areas of any of security studies, political participation, environmental politics or social justice; and assisting with administrative tasks connected with teaching. About you For a Lecturer post you will have: » A PhD or equivalent in Politics or interdisciplinary social science and/or humanities » A strong record in attracting funding for research, or demonstrate potential to attract such funding » An active approach to inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research » Enthusiasm for delivering high quality undergraduate programmes » Strong connections and funded projects with business and community partners » Involvement in projects which develop impact.
