The Chester Medical School is an exciting new development within the University of Chester, which delivers a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medical and biomedical sciences, including pharmacology.
An opportunity exists for a suitably practiced candidate to contribute to the delivery of biomedical sciences and connected subjects on the School's undergraduate and postgraduate taught provision.
You will also be expected to undertake research/scholarly activities and the supervision of student research as required. An capability to teach laboratory practical experiments and offer e-learning to enhance teaching and learning, is essential.
You will be expected to contribute to the School's teaching and administration, and to actively promote the discipline. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a pharmacology or closely related area and have significant previous programme lead, teaching and/or training practice in academia or industry.
