Offer: Hourly Paid Lecturer in Social Work:Job description:Job location: Bridgend Please note, this an hourly paid contract which means that specific days and hours cannot be guaranteed - they are offered on a casual, ad hoc basis to fit the needs of the service and so may vary. We have a great opportunity to join our passionate and enthusiastic Curriculum team at Bridgend College. As a Lecturer, you will plan, develop, deliver and evaluate the curriculum content of learning, providing excellent training across the full Social Work programme (including Social Services Practitioner). It is essential that you have recent practice and a recognised qualification in Social Work, along with expertise of legislation, social policy and theoretical approaches relating to social work practice. You should be familiar with and feel confident delivering specific teaching modules such as Evidence located Practice, Evaluating Social Work and Risk and Decision Making, along with all connected consultation, preparation and marking requirements. With excellent interpersonal expertise and the capability to relate to a wide and diverse student population, you will be able to motivate learners of all ages and backgrounds.
