Offer: Head of Campus Services:Job description:Job location: Potters Bar Interview Date: 06/07/2022 A vacancy has arisen for the function of Head of Campus Services. This presents an exciting opportunity to utilise your expertise and practice to shape and influence the future direction and provision of the estates campus services function at the Royal Veterinary College. The Head of Campus Services will undertake a strategic and key management function responsible for defining and implementing strategies and processes to strengthen the delivery of the Infrastructure Service Directorate (ISD) strategy to support teaching, learning and business needs of academic faculties and services while maintaining a customer centric approach. The post holder will be accountable for all aspects of the soft service delivery at the Royal Veterinary College's (RVC's) Hawkshead and Camden campuses including oversight of the cleaning, porterage services, post room, sports and wellbeing centre, security, catering and accommodation. We are pursuing candidates that are able to lead, motivate and develop soft service managers in line with the College's policies and procedures, ensuring a flexible and efficient approach to the management, delivery and administration of facilities services. You and your team will ensure that third party contracts and internal service levels are reviewed, monitored and tendered in line with agreed standards, and best practice and will work collaboratively in order to provide a high level of customer service, deliver cost-effective solutions, strive for continuous improvement and aim to provide immediate solutions. The function holder will lead a positive Health & Safety culture, by applying an up-to-date expertise of health and safety legislation ensuring the highest safety standards and full regulatory compliance. Agree and maintain health and safety procedure for soft services and ensure that the team, contractors and others adhere to these and the College's health and safety policies at all times.
