Job Offer: Sciences and Engineering Lecturer (Pathway Leader):Job description:Job location: London Full time, Permanent The Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (BASc) is the UK's leading interdisciplinary degree, covering arts, social sciences and sciences. It combines the breadth of interdisciplinary study across the arts and sciences with the opportunity to specialise in one or two key subject areas. We are seeking for a Lecturer in Sciences and Engineering to lead that pathway on the BASc programmes. The post holder will be required to develop teaching, research and strategic leadership abilities in the area of sciences and engineering, as well as take the lead for the Sciences and Engineering pathway. They are also expected to be involved in the development, co-ordination and delivery of several undergraduate modules, including development of their own specialist interdisciplinary module. The post holder may also be required to have a function on the MASc programme. In addition, the post holder will be required to have an excellent research portfolio and practice of administration. They will also act as a Personal Tutor, take part in student recruitment activities and module and programme management. The post holder will be educated to Doctoral level in any interdisciplinary area linked to science and engineering. Previous practice of teaching, research and engagement in a university department is essential, as is working expertise of the connection between scholarship, policy and practice. In addition, the post holder will be required to undertake seminar teaching, dissertation supervision and other teaching as required. candidates should apply online.
