Job Summary - The Student Employcapability and Development Team at the University of Exeter have an opportunity for a graduate to join them as a Programme adjunct. In this function you will get involved with event organisation, promotional work, administration, communication and technical support for the flagship interdisciplinary Grand Challenges and Create Your Future programmes.
this function is part of the Graduate Business Partnership Scheme and is available for 12 months. The function offers hybrid working, located on Streatham Campus with a proportion of time worked remotely. For more information on the GBP scheme please visit www.exeter.ac.uk/internships
About You - You should be a recent graduate who has the capability to write clearly and tailor communications to a specific target audience, is a good team player, has excellent organisational expertise, has the capability to work with precision and accuracy with great attention to detail, has good problem-solving expertise, has a good knowledge of social media, and is confident using IT systems. You should have exceptional interpersonal expertise, have the capability to work independently and use initiative, have the capability to handle a complex and varied workload, have a proactive can-do approach to work, and be able to manage time effectively, plan and prioritise work in the face of conflicting demands and tight deadlines. You should also have the capability to be flexible and deal with frequent interruptions and changes in circumstances, have the capability to work on multiple tasks at once, and quickly switch from one task to another, have the capability to work with a wide variety of staff and students with diverse interests and needs, have resilience and be a fast learner. You should also have practice of working in a dynamic environment, of online team working, delivering customer service, event work or working on a project and administration.
