We have a great opportunity located across our Corby and Wellingboroughcampuses for a Lecturer / Trainee Lecturer in ElectricalInstallationsto become a key member of our Construction and Building Services department.
As a Lecturer / Trainee Lecturer in Electrical Installations, you will play a pivotal function in the success of our students through:
   » Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
   » Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
   » Managing students' learning and provide a high quality learning practice.
   » Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
   » Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.
Our ideal candidates will haverecent practice of working in UK Electrotechnical industry OR recent practice of teaching and assessing on a range of programmes and levels, alongside the following qualifications:
   » Level 2 qualification in Electrical Installation (8202, 2365 or equivalent)
   » availability to achieve Certificate in Education or equivalent
   » GCSE Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent
   » availability to achieve assessors award or similar assessing qualification
   » availability to achieve IQA award or similar IQA qualification

income and benefits will vary for offers where enrolment on the L5 Teaching Apprenticeship is required.
