We are pursuing to appoint to the crucial function of Director of Student Futures. The Director of Student Futures will be responsible for the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of a range of services, delivering a high-quality practice for all our students, which maximises their employcapability potential and achieves excellent results. The function holder will be responsible for ensuring the University delivers an inclusive, joined-up and adaptive approach to our employcapability provision for all Keele students, including undergraduates, postgraduates, home and overseas students, full time and part time, and online only learners. Delivery will be informed by student voice and strong partnerships with employers. The post calls for an exceptional communicator who can demonstrate a track record of engaging senior figures from industry, business and the public sector, as well as having the capability to translate strategy into action and command the respect of the academic community. The prosperous applicant will have an inclusive, determined and inspirational approach to leadership abilities, encouraging ideas, initiative and innovation in others whilst establishing a cost-effective and high-performance culture located on continuous improvement. They must be able to build strong and purposeful relationships with partners and potential partners and play a key strategic function in enabling our schools to fulfil their potential.
