Job Opportunity: Laboratory Support Technician:Job description:Job location: Chester The Chester Medical School is an exciting new development within the University of Chester, which delivers a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical medicine, medical and biomedical sciences. The School has an opening for a Laboratory Support Technician to develop and support the practical and research elements of our teaching provision. You will help ensure that all facilities and equipment are fully maintained. You will be educated to A level standard or equivalent, in the sciences or a related area, and have practice of techniques and expertise employed in practical work for Biomedical Sciences, preferably with practice of cell culture, histology, and molecular techniques.You will have good communication expertise and be able to work as part of a team delivering technical support to the users of the School laboratories.You must also be computer literate and numerate. It is desirable that you have practice within a technical function. The capability to work effectively with others and solve problems in line with procedures is required.
