Student Support adjunct:Job description:Job location: Canterbury ContractType: Fixed Term - 12 Months If you have previous practice of working in an administrative/clerical function, with excellent all round communication expertise, we would welcome your application for this function. Working under the supervision of the Student Support agent, your day to day tasks will include a range of clerical and administrative responsibilities to support the smooth running and efficiency of the team. Your proactive approach to administrative support within the team will be key to your success in this function. As Student Support adjunct you will: » Monitor all enquiries via email (including the Support e-mail account), telephone or in person to ensure student enquiries are dealt with as swiftly as possible » Respond to basic enquiries from staff and students, referring them where necessary to the appropriate person/support service » Assist with the administration of the mitigating actions process, including organising and taking minutes/notes of any mitigating actions » Keep up to date records of student attendance and academic engagement, in liaison with the Senior Tutor, to comply with Academic Diligence and UKVI monitoring procedures To be prosperous in this function you will have/be: » Educated to GCSE in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent » Excellent oral and written communication expertise with the capability to deal with a range of people at all levels » High degree of accuracy and attention to detail » Good IT expertise, including familiarity with MS Office packages Please see the links below to view the full job description and to apply for this post.
