Job Offer: Head of Bid Support (Fixed Term):Job description:Job location: Bath This is an exciting & challenging new function with the Central Team of the award-winning SETsquared Partnership. About the function A key objective of SETsquared is to leverage the power of our universities' enterprise partnership to secure investment in our eco-system. As a senior executive with a validated track-record in securing investment for university-business projects from public & private funders. You will ?own' this objective and by leading the development of and securing multiple ambitious bids play a critical function in ensuring the future sustaincapability & growth of SETsquared. this function is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected end date of 31/07/2024. About you » Proven track record of achievement at a senior professional level with capability to influence and shape strategy and operations » capability to identify opportunities for ambitious university-business projects & practice of bidding for and securing funding. » Be able to demonstrate that you are a team player » capability to develop and maintain networks of experts and project teams within the SETsquared partner universities and encourage the support of colleagues from across the partnership. You will have the desire & strive to 'win' in the competitive business of bid-support. About SETsquared SETsquared is the award-winning enterprise partnership of the universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton & Surrey founded in 2002. SETsquared's Scale-Up Programme was established to pool expertise Exchange skills & capabilities from across the partner universities for Scale-Up businesses in its network. It has helped secure ~£100m of funding for collaborative R&D projects led by its member Scale-Up companies & developed collaboratives projects between the companies & partner universities in many of the most economically productive & competitive industry sectors including sustainable-technology, quantum computing, digital-health, & advanced engineering.
