Job Offer: Lecturer in Electronic Engineering (Teaching Focus):Job description:Job location: Egham Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer (Teaching Focus) in Power Systems in the Department of Electronic Engineering. One of the newest departments in the UK with excellence in student-centred, project-led, creative learning, teaching and research in the electronic engineering discipline. The post holder will primarily deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate students on ?Embedded Systems Creative Team Project? (1styear module), ?Power Systems? (3rdyear module), plus electronic laboratory supervision, project supervision, pastoral care and other activities as deemed appropriate. The prosperous candidate will have completed or near completed a PhD in Electronic Engineering, ideally in an aspect of sustainable energy or power systems. S/he will offer evidence of high-quality teaching in higher education, effective team working, excellent communication expertise, and a commitment to continuous personal development. This is a fixed-term post to cover a period of maternity leave from the 1stSeptember 2022 - 31stAugust 2023. This appointment could end earlier than expected should the substantive post-holder return to work early. This post is located in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park close to Central London and Heathrow Airport.
