Offer: Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA):Job description:Job location: Canterbury We are pursuing a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to join our Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) to carry out ground breaking research on the ECLIPSE programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a social scientist with practice in global health research to work on a major programme of research on the neglected tropical disease cutaneous leishmaniasis. The prosperous candidate will contribute to the delivery of a major global health programme funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), ECLIPSE: ?Empowering people with cutaneous leishmaniasis: intervention programme to improve patient journey and reduce stigma via community education'. this function will involve a number of short field trips to one or more of the ECLIPSE countries (Brazil, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom) and training retreats in the UK. The award of a PhD in Medical Anthropology, Global Health or related social science subject is required prior to taking up this position.
