Offer: Clinical Senior Lecturer in Medical Education (Phase 1):Job description:Job location: Cardiff We are seeking to recruit an practiced medical educator to lead clinical education and innovation work to support development, delivery and evaluation of a high-quality programme within Phase 1 (years 1 and 2) of the MBBCh curriculum. Reporting to the Curriculum Director and the Deputy Director ( Curriculum) you will lead the development of new learning opportunities within years 1 and 2 of the curriculum- ensuring that science and clinical teaching are delivered in an integrative fashion. This will enhance the delivery of a research-informed teaching programme that adheres to current curricular requirements, developing and implementing innovative and appropriate teaching techniques and material which create interest, knowledge and enthusiasm amongst students. You will represent Phase 1 within the Centre for Medical Education and external stakeholders. The post holder will also contribute to education scholarship and faculty development to further enhance the quality of medical teaching in the University. The post is part-time. 0.2 FTE (7.7 hours per week for Clinical Senior Lecturer without Consultant status, 7.5 hours per week for Clinical Senior Lecturer with Consultant status) working pattern to be agreed, available from 1st September 2022 and is open-ended.
