The Department and function purpose:
The post holder with support the Undergraduate Admissions Management Team to manage undergraduate admissions processes, with a particular focus on international admissions, working in collaboration with the Admissions Manager and Admissions adjunct Manager.
They will work collaboratively to ensure a professional, expertiseable, effective, and efficient admissions service delivering the University's strategic aims and targets and ensuring that University and external regulations and policies are adhered to. Additionally, they will supervise permanent and temporary staff within the UG Admissions Team as required.
The varied function requires the exercise of independent judgement and initiative, strong administrative and technical expertise as well as excellent interpersonal and management expertise. The function also involves providing information, advice and guidance and developing positive working relationships with other staff within the Recruitment and Admissions Office, School of Education and across the wider University and beyond. A commitment to maximising personal and team effectiveness and the principles of equality and diversity is essential.
A key part of this function will be working alongside our current Admissions adjunct Manager in the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and systems to support the undergraduate Admissions team.
