Job Opportunity: Sous Chef Lakeside Restaurant:Job description:Job location: Guildford The University of Surrey is amongst the highest achieving universities in the United Kingdom, it was awarded the Times/ Sunday Times University of the Year Award for 2016. The Lakeside Restaurant and coffee shop are part of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management which is ranked in the top five for hospitality and leisure management in the QS World University Rankings 2018 and achieved a five-star rating. We are also ranked in the top three for hospitality, leisure, recreation and tourism in the Complete University Guide 2020. This is a unique operation led by a team of professional staff and ably assisted (during semester time) by talented students studying in the Schools' BSc International Hospitality Management programme. Lakeside is recruiting a Sous Chef whose key responsibilities will be to assist the Head Chef and the existing Sous Chef and provide a first-class catering service to both internal and external customers visiting the Lakeside Restaurant and Coffee Shop. If you have a passion for excellent food across different outlets, work well with others and are excited to work in this unique environment we would love to hear from you.
