The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Cardiff University is a dynamic and prosperous multi-disciplinary centre devoted to research in the disciplines of Earth and Environmental Sciences.

As part of the School's research development services applications are invited for High End Computing Research Development agent.

You will be working in a small research development team in the School to develop and provide professional technical support for in-house high-end computing activities (much of it Linux-located). You will take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of research computer programming support. You will be an effective team player, able to lgain and adapt quickly to change and new challenges. The function will require you to be involved with developing, maintaining, servicing and repairing in-house IT systems and advising and training staff and students on their appropriate use. practice in the use of high-end computing is essential.
