An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wrexham Glyndwr University to join our Digital Learning Team. this function requires an practiced Learning Technologist to deliver pedagogically effective learning provision across the online teaching portfolio by contributing to course design and development, and quality assurance processes. In this function you will be expected to:
   » Develop and maintain good working relations with the programme leaders and academics working on our North Wales Management School (WGU Online) programmesto deliver pedagogically effective learning provision across the onlineteaching portfolio.
   » Develop, maintain, implement, support and co-ordinate delivery of interactive e-learning materials, projects, and activities across the online teaching portfolio.
   » Work in partnership with the Digital Development and Support Project Manager to ensure the delivery of modules on time and being of the quality expected.
   » Work with academics to develop their digital capabilities to make effective use of our digital learning platforms including the VLE and related tools.
prosperous candidate must be educated to Degree level or equivalent and have substantial practice working with and implementing technology in a learning and teaching environment, ideally as both a tutor and administrator.
You will have an in-depth knowledge of different pedagogical approaches to course design, especially for online courses and practice of collaborative working with staff across discipline and departmental boundaries.
You will have practice of training individuals/teams in developing technological solutions to enhance student learning practice and either have Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or Certified Membership of the Association for Learning Technology
