Job Offer: Postdoctoral Research Associate in Immunology/Gene Therapy - Grade 7:Job description:Job location: Liverpool
We are pursuing a post-doctoral researcher with an interest in laboratory-located immunology/gene therapy research for an IMI-funded research project exploring the safety and effectiveness of advanced viral gene/cell therapies with Dr Lekh Dahal, Professor Dean Naisbitt and Professor Sir Munir Pirmohamed. You should be interested in innate and adaptive immunity, gene therapy and have practice working with human/mouse immune cells. practice of in vivo models is desirable, although full training will be provided for appropriate candidates with no practice. You will be expected to work with existing research staff to publish research in high quality journals and at international conferences to enhance the reputation of the group. You should have a PhD in Immunology or Molecular/Cellular biology or a significant discipline and laboratory practice on cell culture/immunology/molecular biology.
