Due to our continuing growth, we are now looking for a Wellbeing Advisor to join our Student Services, Library and Sport team.
The Wellbeing Advisor is located in the Life Lounge (student mental health and wellbeing service) working from the reception desk and is required to provide initial advice and guidance on a wide variety of topics alongside managing the appointments for professional colleagues within the Life Lounge They will lead with the administrative tasks connected with the provision of their services alongside supporting various events and activities in relation to the wellbeing of students.
The Wellbeing Advisor will be working closely with professional colleagues and other specialist staff including but not limited to Discapability Advisors, Student Advisors and Student Funding Advisors.
The Wellbeing Advisor will be the front door to the Life Lounge and provide information and advice to students attending or contacting the Life lounge and will be required to have excellent interpersonal and organisational expertise together with practice of supporting individuals with poor Mental Health.
The prosperous candidate will be working with a diverse student body in a widening participation university. In order to meet the needs of the University and Student Services, a flexible approach to working patterns/hours is an essential requirement of this function.
