Job Opportunity: Teaching and Learning Librarian:Job description:Job location: Falmer Hours : full-time considered up to a maximum of 1 FTE / 37.5 hours Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need). Expected Interview date: to be confirmed Expected start date : to be confirmed We are entering an exciting phase with the development of a new Libraries Programme. This will deliver three connected projects, a new Library Pavilion as well as the development of our existing site and study spaces across campus. You will play a key function in the delivery of library teaching, helping students to get the most out of our physical and digital, resources and services. Aligned with the library teaching strategy, you will manage information and digital literacy teaching for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students across all disciplines. As part of this you will also contribute to the development of our online educational and support platforms including the library website, Subject Guides, expertise Hub, Canvas VLE, and superviseing the library chat service. We are seeking for a customer focused individual who will work with key stakeholders from across the University, including Student Connectors and Academic expertise Advisors, as we contribute to Sussex's strategic focus on student practice through our teaching and support. Identifying good practice within the sector and taking inspiration from other sectors, you will gather customer insights and analyse data to support decision-making.
