We have a great opportunity to join the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC), part of the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Group, as a Senior Project Manager within our projects and programme management team. We are seeking for someone with broad practice as a Project Manager, or Senior Project Manager, preferably in the field of Engineering, Research or Innovation to add to our team located at our expanding Derby offices. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key leadership abilities function, ensuring projects are run in conformity with client requirements and the Nuclear AMRC's Quality Management requirements. You will be the focal point for project teams in Derby, co-ordinating resources and equipment loading to ensure that customer objectives are met and delivered on time and within budget. You will be customer focussed and be the face of the team when dealing with clients all over the project lifecycle. You will: » Have substantial Project Management work practice with practice of direct line management. » Have good skills using Microsoft Office and a strong competency in Microsoft Project. » Have skills / expertise in project methodology and a range of techniques to ensure the project is prosperous. About the Team You will work at the Nuclear AMRC Derby facility. this function provides excellent opportunities to increase and enhance your expertise and skills, supported by a friendly team in an excellent working environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of R&D projects in any or all of the following areas: machining, joining, manufacturing engineering, control and instrumentation, simulation and verification, modularisation, supply chain development, and digital. Projects you will work on may be conducted on behalf of commercial clients, be part of the Centre's capcapability development programme or be undertaken in collaboration with other organisations as part of a government funded programme.
