Job Offer: Administrator:Job description:Job location: Southampton You will join our friendly and collaborative team in the School of Physics and Astronomy, As a member of our busy administrative team, you will deliver a professional and efficient administrative support to our academic community including event organisation, financial administration, organising and minuting meetings, and ordering resources. To be prosperous in this function you will: » Have the capability to build effective and credible working relationships and contact confidently with your stakeholders » Be adaptable, flexible, proactive and a team player with strong interpersonal expertise and a positive and enthusiastic approach. » Have excellent time management and organisational expertise and the capability to manage your own workload effectively to meet business requirements » Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication expertise as well as up-to-date MS Office expertise The University offers a generous holiday allowance 20 days rising to 24 after 4 years plus 8 bank holidays and 6 additional university closure days, with a contributory pension scheme membership, subsidised health and fitness facilities and a range of discounts.
