What We Do:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Leeds College as a Progress Mentor in our outstanding 14+ Academies (14+ Apprenticeship Academy and 14+ PTECH Academy). We are pursuing an enthusiastic, talented and personable individual to support our learners. The post holder will work closely with all staff in a wide-ranging function designed to help our learners' progress both developmentally and academically. Starting September 2022.
What You Will Do:
   » To support and progress development and learning at all times.
   » To deliver and be responsible for a 14+ Academies form group.
   » To cover lessons on a short-term basis as required.
   » To assist teaching staff in the classroom by working 1-1 with learners or in small groups.
Your Profile:
   » Appropriate qualifications and practice and/or a availability to undertake training/qualifications in supporting the needs of disengaged/underprivileged young people.
   » practice and expertise in delivering and supporting young people on a 1-1 basis.
   » The capability to form significant and impactful relationships quickly.
   » Able to work positively and effectively as a member of a team and on own initiative.
