Postdoctoral Research adjunct - BPH:Job description:Job location: London The William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI) is located within the John Vane Science Centre on the Charterhouse Square Campus of Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, within Queen Mary University of London. The WHRI has three core strategic themes: Inflammation, Cardiovascular and Endocrinology with a mix of basic scientists and clinicians benefitting from strong links with Bart's and The London NHS Trust. Applications are invited for post doctoral research assistance to actively contribute to research on antibody engineering for application in infectious diseases using the phage display technologies. The post will be part of a dynamic group aiming to establish novel concepts for developing therapies. candidates should hold a significant PhD degree and work practice, in antibody engineering. The post requires good communication, attention to detail, good organisational expertise and computer expertise. You will be expected to be highly motivated and dynamic in pursuing your goals, extremely accurate in recording data, and will be closely supervised by the principal investigator Prof Ahuva Nissim and Prof Aine McKnight. The appointment will be initially for one year contract with possible extension. The starting income will be depending on practice £35,671 to £45,479 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in conformity with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
