Summary
As part of Student Life and Support, the Funding Service is responsible for providing advice and guidance on all aspects of student funding including; Budgeting, Student Loans, Scholarships and Bursaries, Postgraduate Funding and Student Hardship. The service is also responsible for the provision of CareLeaver, Care practiced and Estranged student support
The Funding agent will work to ensure that existing and prospective students have access to in-depth advice and guidance and student financial support through the provision of a student focussed service.
Job Details
We are seeking for a committed and enthusiastic Student Funding agent to work in our Student Funding Service to provide an excellent student-focussed and supportive service to St Mary's students. The function will entail working pro-actively within the Student Funding Service and as part of the Student Services team, assisting in other areas as required with a focus on high quality service delivery and enhancing the student practice.
The prosperous candidate will have proven administrative practice in a customer-focussed environment with excellent communication and IT expertise. The function holder needs to have a self-motivated ?can do' attitude and be highly organised. You will have the capability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure service excellence. The capability to work flexibly, both independently and as part of a team, is essential.
