We have a great opportunity to join the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC), part of the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Group, as a Project Manager within our projects and programme management team.
For this function, you will need to have practice working as a Project Manager, ideally in an engineering and client-facing environment. It is essential that you are able to communicate and motivate a team of staff and have excellent communication expertise. You will use your capability to organise resources and attention to detail to aid with the planning of projects to deadlines.
You will have:
   » practice of working in a Project Management function with direct line management practice.
   » Strong communication expertise allied with organisational capability and enthusiasm.
   » The capability to discuss at any level the elements of a project including the status to partners, customers and internal stakeholders.
practice in delivering projects under NEC3/4 terms as well as use of connected contract management systems would be an advantage, but is not essential.

We are part of the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Group dedicated to the research, development and application of state-of-the-art technologies. We have an excellent track record of developing technology and integrating it into a shop floor environment to demonstrate financial benefit to partners. This has triggered a large growth in demand and a growing need for skilled engineers with an interest in manufacturing.

You will work at the Nuclear AMRC Rotherham facility. this function provides excellent opportunities to increase and enhance your expertise and expertise, supported by a friendly team in an excellent working environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of R&D projects in any or all of the following areas: machining, joining, manufacturing engineering, control and instrumentation, simulation and verification, modularisation, supply chain development, and digital.
