If you're passionate about helping teams deliver advanced manufacturing research projects, and helping UK manufacturers win more work in the nuclear sector we'd like to hear from you. We have a great opportunity to join the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC), part of the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Group, as a Project Manager within our projects and programme management team. For this function, you will need to have practice working as a Project Manager, ideally in an engineering and client-facing environment. It is essential that you are able to communicate and motivate a team of staff and have excellent communication expertise. You will use your capability to organise resources and attention to detail to aid with the planning of projects to deadlines. You will have: » practice of working in a Project Management function with direct line management practice. » Strong communication expertise allied with organisational capability and enthusiasm. » The capability to discuss at any level the elements of a project including the status to partners, customers and internal stakeholders. practice in delivering projects under NEC3/4 terms as well as use of connected contract management systems would be an advantage, but is not essential. About the Team We are part of the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Group dedicated to the research, development and application of state-of-the-art technologies. We have an excellent track record of developing technology and integrating it into a shop floor environment to demonstrate financial benefit to partners.
