Offer: Senior Development Executive: GLAM:Job description:Job location: Oxford Senior Development Executive - GLAM Development Office, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD We are seeking to recruit two Senior Development Executives to join our new team working across Oxford University's Gardens, Libraries and Museums (GLAM). One of the available functions is a permanent position, and the other is a maternity cover from October 2022 to October 2023. This is an outstanding opportunity to fundraise for some of the most iconic institutions in Oxford, including the Ashmolean Museum, the Bodleian Libraries, and the Botanic gardens (more details here). You will be part of the award-winning Development team of the University and have the chance to help secure the future of our world-leading collections. We are pursuing practiced development professionals with a strong track record of securing major gifts, a confident approach and the capability to think creatively. You will lead on major gift fundraising (£100k-£1m+) working with a range of donors (corporates, trusts and individuals). Our team works collaboratively across GLAM, so you will have opportunities to work on a range of fascinating projects, with some of the most inspiring experts in the world. The function will range from prospecting and developing your own pipeline, to negotiating gifts, and then managing stewardship activity. You will be supported by other members of the GLAM team as well as the wider development office. The Development team is committed to the personal development of its members, and there may be opportunities for career development within the University Development structure.
