This is an opportunity to be involved in a UK flagship project. The aim of this innovative and exciting, collaborative Pasture to Plate project is to maximise the food potential of UK pasture by using targeted chemical processing and novel biotechnology to convert grass into nutritious edible fractions for healthier and more affordable alternative foods, making UK agriculture more resilient and sustainable.

The post holder will be one of two new Post Doc Researcher posts engaged by Harper Adams University on this project, who will play key functions in supporting the delivery of the project deliverables. this function is focused on tasks connected with data analysis from a range of data sources including social-economic life cycle analyses of complex systems, bio-economic and techno-economic modelling.
To prosperously fill this function, you will be able to work flexibly and support a broad range of activities located in office, lab, and outside environments. Be highly organised, including strong planning and execution expertise. A people person, both proactive and collaborative, with the capability to build strong working relationship whilst being e pro-active individual, you will also be numerate and analytical, and have outstanding presentation expertise
The main tasks and responsibilities include:
   » Flexibly support research project staff.
   » Lead on the timely delivery of Harper Adams' project outputs.
   » Carry out quantitative and qualitative data analysis from a range of data sources including social-economic life cycle analyses of complex systems.
   » Facilitate survey designs and focus group designs.
   » Carry out bio-economic and techno-economic modelling.
   » Author quality peer-reviewed papers.
   » Engage in and support communication of results to diverse stakeholders.
