Job Opportunity: Information Compliance Administrator - Part Time (17.5hrs):Job description:Job location: London, Potters Bar Interview Date: 27/07/2022 We are seeking for an practiced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Administrator to join the RVC's Governance team. Founded in 1791, the RVC is one of the largest and longest established veterinary schools in the world. Ranked as the top veterinary school in the QS World University Rankings 2022. The RVC offers outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, and biomedical sciences and carries out world class veterinary and bioscience research ranging from the molecular level through whole animal to population located studies. The Information Compliance Administrator will be responsible for assisting the College Secretary (Governance, Planning & Compliance) in ensuring proactive and reactive compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Data Protection Act 2018, actively supporting a healthy information compliance culture, and assisting staff and students across the RVC with help, advice, and the speedy resolution of issues and queries. They will be a key member of the Governance team and be a motivated and adaptable team player, comfortable working independently and keen to develop themselves in this function. They will need to be confident liaising with all levels of staff within the RVC as well as external stakeholders. Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal expertise are essential. To fulfil this function, you should be able to exercise your own initiative, have a keen eye for detail and ideally practice of supporting information compliance or similar activities The RVC is dedicated to being an organisation in which equality, diversity and inclusion underpin all that we do.
