Administrator (Academic Quality)
Full time or part time (20 - 35 hrs/wk), Fixed term maternity cover (up to 12 months - until maternity cover returns to work)
Split place of work between Horizons (Reading, Berkshire) and Home income range £24,000 - £26,000 FTE pa plus benefits

this function is an excellent entry point for a graduate, or anyone looking to develop their career in higher education! Working within the Academic Quality Unit, you will provide administrative support for key quality events and training relating to our programmes. You will assist team members by ensuring accurate records are held for programme documentation and maintain the team SharePoint site. Other responsibilities include:
   » Planning and preparation for key quality events including external quality audit, validation, periodic review, re-validation, and quality training events.
   » Formatting, updating, and distributing quality documentation.
   » Supporting the preparation of deliberative committee paperwork.
   » Assist in the annual programme review and enhancement planning processes.
   » Act as secretary to ad hoc working groups and other meetings as required.
   » Raising and managing purchase orders and keeping the office admin running smoothly.
Admin practice is essential, and you must have strong planning and organisation expertise. As this job is varied, you must be flexible and adaptable.
