Job Opportunity: Lecturer in Games Development (Art Focus):Job description:Job location: Bognor Regis We are seeking for a Games Lecturer to join our team in the Tech Park on our Bognor Regis Campus, to be responsible for teaching, assessment, and curriculum development within our BA (Hons) Games Design & Development programme. The post-holder should have a leaning towards games art, with expertise that include some/all of the following: 3D modelling and sculpting; texturing and painting; working with 3D engines, animation, and 2D asset creation. The post-holder should also be proficient with some/all of the following industry standard tools: Maya/3DS Max, Zbrush, Substance, Adobe Suite, Unreal/Unity. An capability to code in C#/C++ would be a bonus. The post would suit either a lecturer with prior practice teaching in higher education or an industry practitioner looking to start a career in this field. With the capability to engage the interest and enthusiasm of students and inspire them to learn, this function holder will teach as a member of the Games Development teaching team within a developing programme of study.
