The above post is a full time post available on a permanent basis.
this function offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some in the house.
About the function
You will be located on the Penryn Campus with the main focus of supporting widening participation (WP) activities promoting the University's teaching and research skills as well as the wider student practice.
You will work with a range of individuals from Professional Services and Academic Colleges, current university students, key influencers such as teachers and parents, and prospective students. Responsibilities will include developing and delivering events, supporting the delivery of residentials, creating classroom resources, and working with subject experts to identify creative ways to provide prospective students with an insight into studying at university.
You will work both on and off campus as well as being a part of a comprehensive virtual offering for schools and prospective students.
About you
Excellent communication skills are essential as is the capability manage a busy workload using well developed organisation and planning skills. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable and able to disseminate information effectively to a variety of audiences. You will need to be Flexible and adaptable, which will allow the prosperous applicant to thrive in a dynamic environment and to help the work of the team evolve in a positive and creative direction.
