Job Opportunity: Site Operative:Job description:Job location: Carmarthen Primarily Carmarthen, but could be asked to cover any Welsh Campus - ABOUT US - The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is an employment-focused university, dedicated to ensuring students from diverse backgrounds develop the academic knowledge and practical expertise to thrive. We are now looking for two Site Operatives to join our Carmarthen campus on a full time, permanent basis. - THE function - You will be responsible for maintaining the security of UWTSD premises and the environment. In addition, depending on Rota and need, you will be expected to carry out caretaking tasks, security, and minor maintenance, as well as other general tasks required by the function. General caretaking tasks such as shifting furniture and packages, litter picking, leaf clearance and maintaining the general cleanliness of the University environment will also be an integral part of the function. You will be required to travel between university locations using University Vehicles as required. Please view the Job Description for further details, where you will also find a list of the essential and desirable ?Person Specification' criteria. - ABOUT YOU - To be considered as a Site Operative, you will need: » Good general level of education » Valid full driving license - due to the base being Carmarthen but the work being across the sites, the individual must be able to drive between Carmarthen and Lampeter and Swansea.
