About the function As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Clinical and/or Forensic Psychology, you will be required to make a contribution to the delivery of our BPS accredited programmes at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. We would particularly welcome candidates who are currently practicing as HCPC registered Clinical and/or Forensic Psychologists who can offer an applied practitioner focus to our teaching. We welcome applications from those interested in the full .4FTE function, or those who may prefer a job share on a .2FTE basis. Where significant, you will be given the opportunity to contribute to the research activities of the department and meet the requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence Framework exercise. A commitment to expertise exchange is expected from our research-active staff. About You You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student practice. Teaching practice on undergraduate psychology programmes is essential, and an established or promising research profile is desirable. A background in clinical and/or forensic psychology with supporting qualifications and practice is essential, with current registered practitioner status desirable. To be prosperous you will further enrich our student's practice through your skills and subject expertise as evidenced through your qualifications and broad practice of professional practice.
