The Royal Agricultural University ?RAU? has been at the forefront of agricultural education for over 175 years and is globally renowned for its links with industry and courses that are designed to meet the demands of the changing land-located sector.
We are pursuing to recruit an ambitious and innovative visiting lecturer with the specialist knowledge to teach a number of modules in the arena of farm and rural business management and enterprise as part of the delivery of teaching and learning to students in the School of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the School of Equine. This skills will have ideally been acquired through academic practice and/or practice in the industry.
You will possess an in-depth knowledge of the farm and land-located industry structure and the interactions between the different elements of a prosperous rural enterprise, with a proven track record of teaching excellence in this field. Alongside economic factors, the prosperous candidate should possess knowledge of natural resource appraisal and practical management factors, with a view towards a sustainable future for agricultural and equestrian industries.
You will have a proven capability to communicate this knowledge to others, in large and small groups. The right candidate for this opportunity will have a well-developed empathy for students, a wish to develop the student practice, through both face-to-face and online teaching.
