Job Opportunity: Lecturer or Senior lecturer in Finance and Accounting:Job description:Job location: Ormskirk About the function As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, contributing to the delivery of our modules on a broad range of accounting and finance related subjects and other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of skills and practice. We would particularly welcome candidates who could teach one or more of our specialist modules on the technical areas of financial management, management accounting and financial reporting. You will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Units and meet the qualitative and qualitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence exercise. About You You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student practice. An established or promising research profile in Accounting and Finance and very good teaching practice on undergraduate programmes is essential. A background in professional practice with supporting qualifications and practice would be an advantage. To be prosperous you will further enrich our student's practice through your skills and subject expertise as evidenced through your qualifications and broad practice of professional practice.
