The Opportunity:
Applications are invited for a Guaranteed Hours (GH) contract as a tutor for the following courses in Landscape and Wellbeing at the Edinburgh College of Art:
   »Landscape and Wellbeing: Theoretical Foundations: ARCH11262, Semester 1
The course covers theories emerging from a variety of disciplines including environmental psychology, geography and landscape studies.
There is a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours for course ARCH11262 to be offered in Semester 1 of the academic year located on one tutorial group. The expectation however, is that the tutor could potentially run more tutorial groups depending on enrolment on the course.
   »Landscape and Wellbeing: Research Strategies and Methods: ARCH11261, Semester 2
The course considers the whole research journey from theoretical conceptualisation of a study, through design, choice and implementation of appropriate methods (quantitative and qualitative) to analysis of results, presentation of findings and consideration of their implications for the academy, policy and practice.
There is a guaranteed minimum of 43 hours for course ARCH11261 to be offered in Semester 2 of the academic year, located on one tutorial group. The expectation, however, is that the tutor could potentially run more tutorial groups depending on enrolment on the course.
