We are pursuing an enthusiastic, committed and flexible individual who will provide study skills and strategy advice for students with Specific Learning Difficulties including Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (SpLD/ADHD), in line with Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) funded requirements.
The specialist functions aim to give autonomy over the areas of skills, and the capability to work outside of the one-to-one hours, to contribute to wider team and institution activities. Our Team are already developing exciting initiatives and research into animal-assisted interventions and the application of Ulysses agreements, as well as building a cohesive and holistic approach to enabling and empowering disabled students through our supported induction programme and providing a gold standard of specialist support.
There is flexibility to when the hours for these functions are worked, we are keen that we support you to work in the best way possible. To this end, we would be willing to consider evening and weekend working, as well as 9-5 Monday to Friday hours. An indication of your preferred working pattern, both days and hours, in your application, would be valuable.
