This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead the pre-registration nursing provision in the Faculty of Health and Social Care, University of Chester.
The Faculty has four education centres; University Centre Shrewsbury, University Centre Warrington; University Centre Birkenhead (Marriss House) and Wheeler Building, Chester.
We are seeking for a candidate who holds a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and has a significant undergraduate and Masters level degree. A doctoral level degree or working towards completion is desirable. You must have a passion for pre-registration nursing and be able to lead the programme team in providing an innovative and dynamic curriculum. Delivering a high-quality programme that meets student expectations is essential. You will be expected to work at a strategic level with professional bodies and with external stakeholders. A detailed knowledge of professional regulatory body requirements related to nurse education is essential. Previous practice as an NMC reviewer is desirable.
You will have proven practice of inspiring others and excellent leadership abilities expertise and have proven practice of developing an innovative curriculum that meets the professional requirements for future nursing practice.
