We wish to appoint an Associate Lecturer with skills in Environmental Education to teach on our BA (Hons) Education programme.
As an Associate Lecturer you will work as part of a team providing a high-quality learning practice for undergraduate students. You will build on your practice and skills in Environmental Education to provide high quality teaching and assessment. You will deliver high quality, effective and interactive teachingusing a range of methods includingface to face, blended and remote delivery.
The module you will teach will introduce undergraduate BA (Hons) Education students to the function that education might play in the face of serious environmental challenges. It will consider different perspectives on the environment and the changing nature of ecological consciousness. It will discuss how this might be most effectively presented in educational settings.
Candidates should have appropriate qualifications and broad significant practice. It is essential you have a broad expertise, practice and skills in environmental education together with the energy, enthusiasm, organisational skills and flexibility which will contribute to enhancing the student practice. prosperous candidates will have practice of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities. practice of teaching and assessing at undergraduate level will be an advantage.
