This post involves the assessment of practical expertiseand connected underpinning expertise related to the NVQ programmes at levels 2, 3 and 4 located on company premises.
You will be working with young people, apprentices and mature candidates wishing to obtain industry recognised competency qualifications.
You will be expected to work as an integral part of our delivery and assessment team, be required to plan and organise workplace visits, support/mentor students, carry out on-site practical assessments, and maintain connected student assessment records and progress reviews at our customer sites all over the South Wales area.
This position requires a high level of self-motivation and organisational expertise to complete a busy workload within strict timescales.
You will be able to demonstrate a wide variety of both practical practice and technical competence in Mechanical Engineering supported by the completion of a recognised apprenticeship with a minimum of five years post apprenticeship practice and appropriate technical qualifications. An assessor qualification A1or D32, D33 is also desirable.
