Wrexham Glyndwr University is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and practiced individual with a Law qualification (minimum LLB) to contribute to the expanding provision within the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences. The function will also involve supporting our current and developing partner provision,
We seek to appoint an individual with vision, who can contribute to the development of Law at the University, building the profile of the law degree within the University and beyond, and supporting the development of wider opportunities with the sector and the community. skills in the the necessary legal subjects, referred to in the professional bodies' qualifying regulations as ?the Foundations of Legal expertise' is required The individual will deliver elements of the teaching to students including lecturing, holding seminars, tutorials and workshops and also arranging speakers and attending off campus activities such as court hearings. The post holder will have a commitment to working to a widening participation ethos. The capability to speak Welsh and offer academic and pastoral support through the medium of Welsh as well as marking and providing feedback in Welsh would be highly valuable.
The capability to speak Welsh is desirable for this position.
There is scope for career progression to senior lecturer grading and development opportunities including a teaching qualification, leading to fellowship status with Advance HE.
