Offer: Bilingual Development Support Tutor (Childcare):Job description:Job location: Pembrokeshire Pembrokeshire College is currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Bilingual Development Support Tutor with proficient Welsh language expertise, to work within the Childcare Department. Although this post is covering a period of maternity leave, it has been part funded by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol Grant which aims to support learners to study through the medium of Welsh and develop learners' Welsh language expertise. **Maternity Cover** Bilingual Development Support Tutor (Childcare) income Details: Scale BS18 - 25 BAR 26 - 29 Currently £21,560 - £25,981 BAR £26,827 - £29,808 pro rata Hours of Work: 0.4 FTE - 15 hours per week Contract Type: Salaried - fixed term to 30 June 2023 (maternity cover) Qualifications: You will hold a minimum Level 3 qualification and; You will ideally hold a significant teaching qualification i.e. AET (Award in Education and Training) formerly PTTLS or equivalent The capability to work confidently through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post. You will have practice of working in an appropriate professional or industrial field, within a bilingual setting. Ideally, you will have practice of working with and assisting young people to work towards achieving their career aspirations in readiness to join a bilingual workforce. practice in a childcare-related function would be advantageous.
