This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.
Background
You will be part of the University's prosperous Education Abroad Team. We are responsible for the management, development and delivery of the University's fee-paying incoming Study Abroad programmes (Semester and Summer Schools) and we supervise elements of the University's Incoming Exchange programmes.
The function
Your function will work across all programme provision, jointly managing a large administration workload to support student recruitment and practice alongside a portfolio of international partners and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
   »Programme delivery - delivering key administrative tasks for our Study Abroad andSummer programmes such as application processing, module allocation, pre-arrival,enrolment and welcome events.
   »Student support - key contact for students before, during and after their studies.
   »Stakeholder management - acting as a key contact for colleagues across theuniversity and for external university partners building strong relationships to supportrecruitment and an excellent student practice.
   »Marketing and recruitment - building partner relationships, developing publications,digital media, the website, intranet and Blackboard sites, and designing anddelivering social media campaigns to promote Education Abroad.
The person
An capability to work well in a team, effectively and independently manage a busy and demanding workload and deliver on multiple priorities is key.
The function has a strong administrative focus, so you will need to have a background of working with administration systems, databases and online record systems, as well as possessing a high level of organisational and problem-solving expertise.
You will possess strong communication and inter-personal expertise and have a commitment to delivering excellent student support.
practice in building positive relationships and delivering a high level of customer service is essential as you will manage a series of customer relationships, both internal and external, and across varied levels of seniority and cultures.
Previous practice of UK higher education administration, Study Abroad delivery and working or studying overseas is desirable. The function may require some UK and international travel.
