The School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology has one position available and seeks to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow in the field of Civil Engineering with a particular specialism in Materials and/or Structural Engineering. This appointment will be located on your practice and academic strengths.
The function will require delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the Civil Engineering discipline and the specific development of the Materials and/or Structures modules. You will also be expected to make broad contributions to the academic work of the School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment in the field of materials and/or structures. In addition, you will contribute to the development and delivery of outreach and engagement initiatives for Civil Engineering professionals as well as interdisciplinary project areas. You are likely to have a background in Civil Engineering and water engineering.
