Job Offer: Principle Engineer - Digital Innovation for Manufacturing (102261-0822):Job description:Job location: Coventry Position is Indefinite - Linked to Funding (Current funding end date is 31/03/2024) 36.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) Are you ready for a new challenge and help transform UK manufacturing? Can you lead a talented multidisciplinary team of engineers and business experts, helping SME manufacturers improve their productivity and competitiveness? WMG has an opportunity for an practiced industrial Principal Engineer, to lead a dynamic team of experts, in the field of Digital Manufacturing (e.g. automation, data analytics, additive manufacturing). You will provide leadership abilities, for the prosperous and timely delivery of projects including planning, monitoring, use of resources, and meeting of project targets. The ideal candidate will think strategically and out of the box, but will also have the expertise to actively broaden networks, identifying and exploiting significant opportunities. You will have significant Manufacturing and Industrial practice in your own area of specialism and be a confident communicator. Additionally, you will have the capability to analyse and solve complex problems whilst managing multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will possess a good honours degree (2.1 or above) or equivalent in an engineering or scientific discipline, and ideally hold a postgraduate qualification.
