If so, we have a great opportunity that is currently available for a Research & Innovation Manager to work within Kent Business School. The function is perfect for an enthusiastic, pragmatic and motivated individual to drive development of the Research and Innovation culture within the Division.
You will be responsible for growing research and innovation earnings and fostering high quality outputs, such as publications, all of which are central to the institution's strategy. The function involves providing support to funding bids, developing the research culture and managing research and innovation processes. this function line manages a supportive and capable team of 2, an R&I Coordinator and an R&I agent.
To succeed in this function, the post holder will be:

The Research and Innovation Manager will:
   » Work with the academic community to create a research culture that drives KBS research priorities and submissions
   » Devise a research support mechanisms and incentives
   » Monitor and contribute to the achievement of the Division's research & innovation KPIs
   » supervise pre- and post-award administration for research and innovation awards
   » Work on projects that expand expertise and collaborate with research investigators
